ERAS NEWSLETTER • The Herp Digest
The Edmonton Reptile & Amphibian Society publishes a quarterly newsletter every
year made available to society members. The newsletter is called The Herp Digest
(Herp is a vernacular term for reptiles and amphibians derived from the old term
Herpetile).
The newsletter is made available to all ERAS Members four times a year and is distributed electronically
in stunning full-colour via the internet using Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF).
The Herp Digest contains current information relating to on-going society business but is
primarily composed of various member-generated articles and photographs such as
pet caresheets, rescue stories, ERAS event coverage, and field-herping stories.
ERAS NEWSLETTER • How do I contribute?
The Newsletter Editor is always looking for content for The Herp Digest in the form of
caresheets, herp-related photographs & articles, rescue stories, photos from ERAS events
& meetings, herp-related artwork, links to current relevant news stories, self-created
word games & puzzles, and the list goes on!

ERAS NEWSLETTER • How can I advertise?
Herp-related advertising opportunities exist within The Herp Digest.
All ERAS members can
take advantage of one free business-card sized advertisement. Additional and larger ads may be purchased at
the following rates:
Full Page = $30
Half Page = $20
1/4 Page = $12
Business-card Size = $10
(for non-members)
