Sorry but all I brought home were pictures.
This guy was pretty tame. I was able to hold his tail and he barely moved, just shuffled a little but didn't try to move away or anything. In hindsight, I should have tried to play with him more but he was fairly large and somewhat intimidating.
I thought that the light areas of his skin were where he was starting to shed but now I'm not so sure.

Nope. That's just natural coloration for some Ctenosaura.

The other animals were a spiny lizard (Sceloporus) and a whiptail (Aspidoscelis).

He looked to be a pretty good size. Aprox how large was it?

I would guess that he's about 30 inches long.
