OK, OK OK, OK OK, you guys! I'm reporting each and everyone of you to the SPCA, PETA, the cops and yes even Spiderman!
![]() Keep the little guy in a medicine vial or small deli cup with a little substrate at the bottom, feed him a baby cricket every week or two and spray a little moisture on the side of the container two or three times a week. Then in the spring release him outdoors, if you haven't fallen in love with him yet.

Here's what my boyfriends suggests:
You get a nicely warmed bat, because steel is cold to the touch and may throw your groove, put yourself in front of the mirror, work on your charisma a little bit by dabbling with a war cry, when you feel comfortable with yourself and that war cry that you have attained, you go running into the room that the spider is at, and you destroy that mo fo with your bat while releasing your war cry of all mighty power and doom. Use that same tp as previously mentioned and wipe the bat, flushing the remnants down the drain. Place the bat back under your pillow for safe measure and future reference.

I have an inch big Jewel spider living in my closet, I toss it a cricket every week or so. I really cant see a spider now and kill it, it goes against my morals. Even ants I take back outside(because lets face it, you waste less energy taking it outside then repeatedly stomping it).
Even when I worked at the local school I was always taking the spiders back outside, and there were SWARMS of them inside, the kids started bring them to me to put outside. |

I get those in my basement every now and then, I just leave them. You can usually tell where they have been in the basement because they tend to make webs where there are drafts or lots of air movement. They catch things we can't see with the naked eye.
So I vote let him be, he is doing you a favor being there.

My youngest sister takes a lighter and lights any spiders she finds on fire, then disposes of the remains. A little more messier then my method but it as well gets the job done.
