    Default 7 orchids for 5$

I just got the following for 5$.

In my cool growing area, yet to be set up for the long term:
    Masdevallia amabilis (pink/purple form)
    Masdevallia tovarensis
    a large Restrepia trichoglossa

Brassia caudata (in with my azureus for now, it'll need more height eventually)
3 unidentified coelogyne (going in with my Cat geckos and tokay between the warm and the intermediate temperatures, I'll figure out what this NOID likes.)

Wonderful deals to be had, for those that bother to look.

I'd really love to have one but I'd be afraid that I would kill it
I've always been a snake gal but I do believe lizards can be very cute

That's what everyone says about it, but almost anyone can grow something, and after a few losses, lessons learned and spending some time talking with the other growers, you start to get the hang of things. Everyone is very friendly and happy to help you get started and introduce you to the hobby and help you develop your green thumb. First step is with you though, you have to want it.
