    could I use the whacking technique on gold fish for my turtle? the turtle is to slow or the feeder fish have gotten to big cause you see a chewed off tail tip once and a while but these are some hardy feeders cause they heal up lol.also they attack his food, he has to steal it from them even blue berries.there like parana lol

    I honestly don't know. I havn't ever tried, but would assume whacking a fish would work (I'd go with the full body whack discussed above). I know with larger fish, fishermen use a beat-stick to the head.

    I have enough turtles where if I have a resilient feeder, I'll move it to another tank and it usually gets eaten by that guy.
