These new ones put me up to 12 tarantulas, plus my 8 scorpions makes an even 20 inverts, but i have to stop now as i don't have any more room, unless i move that over there...and get rid of that.......

Sorry Neil, i'll make sure to give you a heads up next time:o

I forgot to mention the common names:
Crassicrus lamanai - Belize cinnamon
Avicularia laeta - Puerto Rican Tree spider/pinktoe
Grammostola aureostriata - Chaco gold knee (i think)

I'll try to get that C. lamanai, she just won't be cooperative for a photoshoot at the moment.

Edit: best pics i could get of the C. lamanai.

Congrats Mike. Where did you get them from? C. lamanai are funny. I have two and one is always out and about and the other is never visible and in her hide. I've been looking all over Belize for the males but can't find one!:(

Ollie, I got them from Tarantula Canada, another flawless dealing with them i might add. It would be awesome if you could get a male Ollie, this is one species i would love to breed, along with my E. pachypus, when i have more room. My lamanai is being very secretive right now, i just hope she doesn't always hide as love how these look. How's Belize treatin' ya?

Yeah, the males are really hard to find. Belize is awesome as usual. Heres a pic for you.

can't tell ya what the roads are like from calgary, but the weather has been fairly mild the last few days (well...mild considering it's winter), I can't wait to see the oodles of photos!

Neil, Tarantula Canada has the most extensive pricelist of any dealer in Canada (that i know of) and good prices (although shipping is killer), i hate looking at price lists, i just find more species i want, but i no longer have room:( (I have to get my hands on a X. immanis (http://www.tarantulacanada.ca/gallery/images/144.jpg) or X. intermedia (http://www.tarantulacanada.ca/gallery/images/646.jpg) which i just noticed are on sale there...damn it)

guitarlixx, the best way to overcome a fear is to confront it, if you can get him comfortable to be around spiders, maybe you can get him to handle one (first with gloves of course) he may find they are not the monsters people think they are, but rather beautiful creatures. Who knows, maybe he will want one eventually:)

Thats what really had me going too! I've been wanting both of those for some time but couldn't bring myself to pay nearly $200 for a baby T,no matter how cool it is! But $100 that's getting closer...Perhaps after Christmas we should get an order together.

Neil, that might work, as i said, i am running out of room but i'm sure i can find space for one of those...i don't need a VCR anymore, its all about DVD's...i'll just get rid of that the there's enough room for a KK;)

Man, I noticed that X. Intermedia as well and oh man did I get excited! I've never seen one for sale from a place that is easily within my grasp. Mostly, they've been on sites that I can't ship from.

And Mike...it's gonna be a long while until I can get David into spiders. I just showed him that picture of that X. Intermedia and he just about flew out of the kitchen faster than I could close my laptop. I used to be HARDCORE arachnophobic (sp?) though, so I'm well aware of what it takes to tame that fear down. I thank Mads for fixing me, but I don't know if I could use my spiders to fix David because they're a little bit unpredictable and flighty at times. Makes me sad, cuz it catches me off guard, too and startles me :(

Mike,
Have you thought about selling your bed and using a hammock? That way you get a few bucks for more T's and you can keep them under your hammock where your bed used to be! Where theres a will there's a way!:D

And if you need me to take one of those Grammostola aureostriata off your hands so that you have more room, I'm here for you buddy:D

If you order from TC in the new year let me know cuzIjust might want to piggy back on your order.

Mads has those X's listed too and you wouldn't have to worry about shipping in the cold.

Hammocks never even crossed my mind! what a great idea! Also who needs a dresser? replace that with some shelving, and the floor is as good of a place as anywhere else for my clothes (now that i think about it...that's kind of the way it is now so what's the difference?):)

I want to see the little G. aureostriata through their next molt, then i'll decide what to do with them (probably early in the new year), chances are i'll give one to you and since Neil also asked, i'll give one to him and keep one for myself

I'll for sure let you know if we do order from TC anytime soon, the more ways to split the shipping the better!

I forgot to check Mads list, thanks for the heads up!

EDIT: hey Ollie, i just remembered about a fairly good photo i got of the P. murinus you gave me, here she is in all here orange glory!
