Holy Molly I've got an egg sac! Ollie lent me his male Curly hair a while back to have a go at my girl.Shortly after the pairing she dug herself in and has pretty much stayed buried since.I haven't seen her for a few days so I thought I should see if she's OK,I turned the tank around an what do I see with my girl but a silky white egg sac:D.It's BIG Too! Cross your fingers and wish me(her) well, this is my first time trying to breed Tarantulas.

Congrats Neil. I taught that little guy everything he knows!;) I see you're getting a lot of positive feedback. Save a few for me.
Do you know when she made the sac? Must be over a month, eh?
When I get back from Tucson I'm gonna pull the sac from my G. rosea and see if anything has developed. I doubt it. I'm expecting a dud sac.
Good luck with yours.

I think it's not more than a week or so old.I'm gonna have to do a little research,I don't know what the heck to do with this thing!!

If its only a week or so then you have lots of time. Some people pull the sacs after 30 days or so and then raise the young in an incubator set up or you can leave the sac with the female and let them develop naturally. Still if the sac is good you'll need a supply of small food items. Newly hatched crickets or fruit flies.

Bad news for the eggsac.I looked in on her today and she had abandoned the eggsac so I removed it and cut it open and found all the eggs dryed out.:(

I did not know that Spiders laid "Green Giant Niblet Corn"....Very Interesting!!!!

Yea,I've never tried breeding T's before so it's my fault.I let the cage get dried out ,I just wasn't thinking, stupid mistake.

I just thought of something... I'm sure it's irrelevant now, however.

I had an egg-sac from a jumping spider, and it dried up as well, same thing...
But I didn't get to cleaning out the little container for maybe a week.
I went to throw out the sac and what not after letting the mother go,
and found 1 little spiderling in the container with all the 'dead' eggs...

I'm sure you looked very well Neil,
but for anyone else who has a sac 'die' in the future...
Look well, you may get lucky and have one little spiderling waiting to cheer you up.

Well at least now you have some experience for next time:)
