I got 3 H.insei slings from Tarantula Canada on the last order to start my own comunial tank since Amandas is the coolest ever ! These came out of that tank and I'll be getting a few more when the scorpion order comes in.
I shot a few pics while I was feeding today.
Here's a web tunnel.

Thats already some nice webbing they got going there, should turn out well. Whats the growth rate on H.incei anyways? Any clue when they hit maturity?

Haha, I love these guys. So cool. My colony is doing so well (10 in a 40 gallon). I suspect atleast one of my females may have an eggsac.

Here's how my pair are set up now. They mated, then the female went under the larger piece of cork in the middle and has rarely come out since. All the webbing you see is by the male.

I'm hoping that some day soon I'll find lots of little H. incei running around and I can set up a bigger community.

Very nice Ollie! I am guessing you just use a water dropper to get water in there now?

Holothele incei grow pretty fast. You can get a mature male within 8 months, and mature females in less than a year.

Interesting, that means the female Ollie has was able to breed quite a while ago...all that wasted time :(

I would absolutely LOVE to set up one of those. arachnids are positively fascinating to me, watch mine for hours n hours... so what size tank would be best, to start off with?
