It looks.... kinda naked.

And it's eyes look strange.

You are hereby required by order of Cody, to make a video of it killing and eating its prey.

I love seeing the more venemous species of arachnids killing their prey, I would assume since this species relies heavily on its venom, it would do repeated stinging, seen any of that at all?

Cody,

This species is very venomous and I don't think it would have to sting a cricket more than once to subdue it.

Course it might do it more often just for fun!

I use to have a H.hottentota(I believe, would have to ask Neil T what it was again) that would catch two crickets at a time, one in each claw, and alternate stinging them both. Still wish I would of gotten a video of it, almost like it was playing eenie meenie miny mo.

I was tempted, but I had to keep in mind the TC order :) not alot of room left for scorpies myself :) at least not until I get the colony setups going :)

hehehehehe, Glad you're enjoying the little scorp. Incidentally, that is the very scorpion featured in most of the photos in my thread on TARAS. I named it Angra because it was an exceptional hunter. These guys like to sting a number of times, sometimes driving the stinger in and holding. The crix do expire quickly!! Nice closeups Neil, what camera are you using??

Thanks for the nice comments folks.Just so you know I an super cautious with this little feller.Last thing we need is some dough head taking a hit from something like this and the government using it as an excuse to out law them (not to mention I would be in serious trouble).
I'm just using a Canon Powershot A700 point and shoot with a close up lens kit I scored from EBay.
