So while it seems that a lot of people went to the TARAS show today, I thought I'd try breeding my Trinidad Olives. The female I got from Neil a week or so ago and the male I got from Calgary and he had his ultimate molt a couple of weeks ago.

Hello, anybody home?

Well, just me young man! How can I help you?

OH my! I see what you're up too!

Hey ma'am, where'd you go. Come back!

She did come back but since I was downloading pictures I missed most of the next encounter. Do think I have a flair for writing romance novels?

Maybe tarantula romance novels... if they were picture books ;)

I wish you luck on the breeding. It's interesting to see the sexual dimorphism going on.

Good luck Ollie! when you get some little ones, put me on the list for a few, i might give a communal setup a go with these! Do you know the average amount of eggs for these?

I think the great grandowner of the female may have to purchase some spiderlings once they are out and about aswell. :D

Do you know the average amount of eggs for these?

When Martin and I produce this species, there are anywhere from 60 to 120 offspring (the number of eggs usually correlates to the size of the female).

Good luck!
