I think either myself or perhaps someone else has asked this before, but I cannot find the post if it exists...
I'm wondering if there are any other reputable tarantula dealers in Canada other than Tarantula Canada.
I'd just like to know what is out there, nothing against TarCan.:D

Thanks...

Dave Avery is one out in BC, he comes to the Edmonton show every year.

Mads has sold all his inverts to David Avery and is concentrating on feeders.

They are working together as far as I've been told. I usually sell my baby animals to the two of them.

By the way I currently have available:

Damon diadema (babies have not left her back yet)
Scolopendra subspinipes de haani (soon, she's still holding the babies)
Pandinus imperator (babies have not left her back yet)

I still sell invertebrates, I've just decided to only sell wholesale to stores and other dealers versus selling to the general public. The reason for this is that I simply do not have the time to maintain the large collection that I had at one time (5000+ animals). Dave Avery has recently built a new facility to house his animals, and needed more animals to take advantage of the space available. I had many animals and no space. We decided to team up, and he now does all the retail sales to the general public.

If you still don't quite understand, well, follow me around for a few days and I think you'll understand why I decided to cut back on the workload a bit!! :D

Haha, I understand completely
How long did it take you to amass a good breeding stock?

A couple of years to get a nice selection. I still bring in a few now and again on imports together with Dave for my own collection. Crazy things are addictive!!

Yeah. First you start me off on the light stuff, a nice, sweet G. rosea and the next thing you know I'm buying OBT's, T. blondis and P metallica.
